We had a nice time in CA for Easter. The weather was really pretty. The kids appeased their mom by taking some great pictures. John and Evy have such a beautiful yard that we couldn’t help taking a ton of pictures. The girls were excited to wear their new dresses and sandals…Lucas didn’t care so much about the new clothes he just had fun playing with the boys and the light savers. Guess we know what to get him for his bday this year.

Emily loves to read. She usually has a book in hand or paper and pen. Daddy got some mechanical pencils and she is in hog heaven that he is going to share with her. I am so happy that she loves reading because that is one of my most relaxing past times. I asked her the other day what her favorite subject at school was and she said library. Guess there could be worse things.

Abigail has been growing her hair out for awhile now but decided that she wanted short hair. She wants mommy to curl it more often and it takes too long (she gets antsy) to curl when it is long. Lindsey came over and chopped it off for her and she loves it. We curled it yesterday and she smiled all day because everyone complimented her. Didn’t get a picture of the curled hair but did snap a couple with it short.

Besides Oma, Tim starts the crazy birthday scene in our family. Didn’t we just celebrate Christmas yesterday??? Can’t believe how fast the year is moving. We went to pizza for dinner last night and Tim wants a turkey dinner for his bday….so I am cooking a huge turkey on Saturday for him. He even wants all the fixings…ok by me I love turkey. He got a new helmet from my parents that he has already used. The kids and I got him some movies…Crusty Wars and Attack on St. Anthony dunes…along with some Monster graphic stickers he wanted. All in all I think he did all right.

This picture is from Christmas time at Tim’s parents but I really love it….isn’t he handsome???
We love you honey…happy birthday from your family.
Abigail is such a wonderful sweet little girl. Last night I had some lady friends over for FLOK (Fabulous ladies of Kuna). The kids got home from hanging out at the neighbors just as everyone was getting ready to leave. Abigail ran upstairs and got her jams on and then came back down to give all the ladies hugs. She only really knows a few of the ladies. Well, amazing what a simple gesture, like a hug, can do to someone. Was so nice to see the smiles on these friends faces when she snuggled in and said goodbye. I love that Abigail is so friendly and sweet. I do worry that she will be friendly and sweet to the wrong person someday but hope that she will learn to be cautious as she gets older.
Lucas has a hard time living in a house with sisters sometimes. He knows that the girls get to put powder on occasionally so he decided he should have a turn.

He was so sparkly and smelly that I was having a real hard time not laughing. Took him downstairs and took pics because I am a picture taker. Asked him if he was in mommy’s stuff and he said ” Now if I say yes you are going to spank my butt.” How do you argue with that??? Well, I didn’t spank his bottom but did make him show his dad. Tim freaked out and made him take a bath. Funny how dad’s are like that. Enjoy. I keep reminding myself that they are only little once and someday I will have blackmail with my pictures.
Now if I say yes…you’re going to spank my butt.
